We are a family owned company and we started years ago with moving a sofa and a fridge from here to there, and we ended up having clients with that owned castles 🙂

‘Removals’ is increasingly part of contemporary life across the UK, because political and economic uncertainty is having a drastic impact on the Employment prospects for under-30s. Parents, like us in Edinburgh, find ourselves having to provide grown-up family members with finance and other resources to fund their modest living costs, especially if they’ve moved to London to gain work.
This is what caused us to search for a reliable and affordable Removals firm, which would move basic items of domestic household goods from Edinburgh to London. Choosing a firm was difficult, because multiple online websites offered their ‘cheapest’ quotations and claims of ‘best value’. We set 5 criteria: Trust, Time-keeping, Courtesy, Safe Collection & Delivery and Cost. Cornerstone Removals Ltd was the firm that eventually served us. What has been my experience and would I recommend this company to other parents/individual customers?
Constantin and his colleague arrived promptly at 07.30, proceeded to assess the load before swiftly and securely loading the goods into their Van. They informed me that ours was one of multiple jobs they had to do in cities in North-west England, before delivery our goods in London, by 21.00 that day. Would they make a safe delivery on time? They certainly did, and with courtesy, care and no breakages, despite a demanding road journey of 500+ miles in 13 hrs.
I had witnessed their hard effort, customer care and reliability and hoped that their total earnings for the day were fair. Constantin is someone who is honest and reliable about why and how he provides his service to individual customers. Based on my experience on this single occasion, I unreservedly recommend this family-based company that Constantin manages. It is rare to find such a company in an industry that is often dominated by a ‘cut-throat’ culture and ‘rip –off’ reputation.
